Mike was born May 3rd, 1954 in Gary, Indiana and is married to Anne. They have one son, Caleb, and one granddaughter, Jennifer.
Mike and his family arrived in the Rim Country in 1986 and lived at the Tonto Natural Bridge for three years, in Pine for one year, and now lives in Payson.
Mike loves the mountains and feels privileged to live here in the Rim Country. He worked for KMOG from 1990-94 and then returned to the station in 2002.
Mike collects records, hikes, and recently picked up the guitar after many years of not playing. He is a vegetarian but does enjoy fish. He also enjoys a glass of red wine in the evening.
Bluegrass and real country music is what Mike enjoys listening to and he dislikes much of the "pop-country" that makes it to the charts these days.
